The sound and look of his guitar channels that of Legend Clapton himself; making it satisfyingly easy to manipulate your brain into believing that you are witnessing a real live "Slowhand" performance. Although, D.M.M. does not entirely resemble the Legend, you'll hardly notice that detail once he starts to play.
